  1. We can really be proud of Ashleigh but I am sorry you can't even mention her name in the same category as Greg Minnaar.
  2. My diamond vitality was a covid casualty. Must say life is more peaceful not having to worry about points and uploads.
  3. Ive been using Fugit for 10 years in my mtb's as well as off road motorbikes. Cheaper than any other sealant and out performs most of the much more expensive competitors.
  4. I got infected end July. Felt like a flu but was never concerned that its life threatening. At the time my o2 sat was 98% but then developed long covid and o2 sat dropped to 92%. I just didn't get better. Had severe fatigue and brain-fog for months. Beginning of December I took ivermectin for 5 days in a row and my brain fog was gone. O2 sat improved to 94%. Followed up with testing at a sports physician and was diagnosed with fluid on the lungs and started 6 months asthma treatment. Was given the clear to start 30min at 70%hr. Has since managed 1h20 at 70%hr and even a 15min run at 85% without too serious repercussion. Still very far from what I was before covid but grateful that at least I can ride my bike again. They dont know anything yet about long covid and estimate that it can effect 10% of of people who gets the virus.
  5. Anyone here also struggling with long covid? Ive been man down 3,5 months and no end in sight!
  6. You can ride idt with a sling as soon as you have recovered from the anaesthetic
  7. I recall up to 15mm discrepancy is actually normal. I wouldn't bother about 9mm. Mine is 25mm. Rode like that till I was 41. Only then I started experimenting with 18mm raised cleat on my short leg. Took some time to get used to it, especially on the bmx. Just set your saddle height 4mm high for the short leg and 4mm low for the long leg and you good to go!
  8. https://www.cyclingsa.com/membership If you have a csa membership you can claim from Hollard up to R25k.
  9. Not sure about that statement as any repair involves overlapping

  11. Crit racing will be introduced sooner than you think
  12. Sealed bearings can be opened, cleaned and re greased. That way, they never ever needs replacing. And because its a bicycle and not a space shuttle or a submarine you can use any grease
  13. Floss works great to close up tubbies so I am sure this will work just fine. Maybe follow the stitching with a glued rubber patch on the inside
  14. Dont worry about him just yet and enjoy your cycling! Before you know it all riding is planned around him and you will become a manager that hardly gets time to ride yourself!
