Tried that on my stem..... Didnt work.

haha.

Whatever. Would have been dead now.

Was even considering just throwing a cable tie around a nearby spoke to put a bit of tension on it that will stop the rattle.

But it will really look crap and also I can imagine that having a loose spoke is not really ideal either.

Hey Woofie, if Prolink does not work, rather attach a reflector to the spokes, it will look better that the cable tie, and will serve a safety purpose..... not that I promote the reflectored spokes, but you seem to be at a dead end! Good luck with your struggle, and congrats on running 2bliss!

Thanks guys.

Not quite sure if I like the reflector idea either!

But that does give me some other ideas though.

Shot for the help.

Ask Wannabe - I remember him breaking a spoke on his Kyseriums and struggled to get it off. He put something on the nipple and over time it came loose.

Acetone. To dissolve whatever glue/lock-tite they used.

Ah! What a good idea.

Ive got stacks of that stuff.

On a side note, acetone works really well to clean your chain.

Fill a 500ml (glass) coke bottle with the stuff.

Take your chain off and tie a piece of string through one of the end holes.

Slowly lower the chain in shake the bottle a bit and the whole thing will fit in there.

Leave the piece of string hanging over the edge and put the cap back on.

Let it stand.

Come back later and shake the bottle.

And watch how all the dirt starts coming off the chain.

Let it stand again.

When you come back you will notice how all the dirt is now on the bottom of the bottle.

Lift the chain out, give it a good wipe, re-oil and it is pretty much ready to go.

All the dirt goes down to the bottom of the bottle, so you can pretty much just dip your chain back in next time.
