I did an Epic on Mezcals - I love those tyres. Not the grippiest, but certainly nice and fast!

I think Saguaro/AKA on the front, and Mezcal on the back should cover most situations.

 

I'm keen to try out their 29er options.

I started on my 29er with Saguaro 2.2 front and back its quite a large volume tyre use to run them on my 26

 

the Saguaros are now well scrubbed so gonna play with a set of 2.0 fast traks obviously a lot lighter, this bit of rain will just pack down the trails and firm them up in Tokai and the wapad, couldnt believe how sandy it is in certain sections been on the road and kakked off in the sand the last few days

 

I ran a mezcal upfront once and ended up with a sidewall cut on the Lourensford last year so wont use them upfront again

 

but the geax tyre is a great brand

Saguaro 2.1 up front, Mezcal 2.2 at back on my HT. Not the most technical rider, but this combo instills confidence in me

saguaro front and rear so when the rear has worn down you can swap the tire's around and get more for your money have saguaro on my 29er and 26er

best grip money can buy!!!

had a saguaro on the rear, nice and fast but no grip, especially for table mountain.

 

am now running 2.1 Lobo Locos and they have insane amounts of grip

I ended up getting the Saguara 2.2 front and AKA 2.2 back and took it for my first "test drive" yesterday at Jonkershoek and all I can say is Handled everything superbly!! Very happy with my decision

Good call. running the same on my 29er and it works great!
