USN Mtb Cup

It was an awesome track compared to the likes of Dunblane, although the Dunblane i did the 60km, this one i took it easy, i thoroughly enjoyed it.

 

I have the results they were emailed to me, PM me your email addresses and i will send accordingly, just let me know what its for.

 

Does anyone know who the organiser was? Its not Cyclelab as they said the organiser has the Photo's of the event.

I loved that race - flowing single track, forest sections, rocky descents - it was mtb heavan - I rank it top 3 courses of 2011 - all within driving distance of jhb. Awesome!

 

Marking was top notch apart from that 90 degree right turn halfway down a fast jeep track - went flying past it on both laps and had to make a hasty u turn. Other than that no marking issues at all.

 

@crasher - I got 5th overall and 2nd subvet but did crash my ass off on the second running of the rocky descent - that rigid fork is unforgiving and a large rock bounced me off into the bushes. I have a torn anterior something or other rotator cuff so 2-3 weeks off the bike.

 

I will certainly be back for the next few races Dylan and co put on at Base 3!
