Keen to do some suffering tomorrow at Suikerbosrand tomorrow :o Haven't been there for a while, and heard some rumours that it is now closed to cyclists. Any hubbers know if its still open.

there are two entrances to suikerbos - which one does one take ... and is it idiot proof to find the route?

you take the northern one, closest to the N3.

park at the hotel, go back as you came in, when you pass over the cattle grid, turn left.

its idiot proof if you are able to read yes, and if you know the road rules eg one way sign etc...

good luck

Change of plan. Now going on Easter Monday. 30% chance of rain. Leaving from main car park at 7am. Anyone keen to join. The bigger the group the faster we go

I was there today - all good, still a great place for a good ride, and the viz today was superb.

Just remember to pack your spare tube, unlike kippie moi who was severely humbled with 20+ k's to go. Thanks to the staff and their service bakkie, I made it back otherwise I could still be walking. And also thanks to lady on mtb who gave me a glueless patch which didn't work unfortunately.
