I will ship your Ebay.co.uk or UK Purchases to SA

Hi Guys and Girls

I have started a small rather successful forwarding business for Ebay purchases in the UK.

Buying Bike parts in the UK is MUCH cheaper than here in SA, but buying on UK sites often means you need a UK address or you cannot buy or bid. Many sellers will ONLY deal with UK people as not to hassle with customs issues and couriers. Well this is where we come in. Ship locally in the UK to our address and let us deal with the paper work. From experience UK sellers are very efficient with shipping and they send off your item within a day or 2. The postal and courier services within the UK are extremely efficient and the goods arrive within 48hrs posted from mainland UK to our destination below. We then forward to you for a small fee and usually within 12 days you have your goodies. Unfortunately we do not ship full bikes but any parts that you may need.

Contact me at wnomell@gmail.com or on this forum.

Get incredibly good deals on bicycle parts from Ebay.co.uk and send to my UK address (usually free from sellers, otherwise very cheap)

Once received, we package all items and professionally wrap and send once a week via DHL to Cape Town (takes 3 working days from date sent, we usually send on Mondays or Tuesdays, thus receive Thursdays or Fridays)

Step 1:

Send me a mail of what you would like to have sent

Include : Your Item Description (best to send ebay item number)

Your receiving address

Your contact number

Step 2:

Once you have accepted quote

"Bid" or "Buy it now" on ebay.co.uk

Give our address as yours

"Your Name"

Nomell Forwarding

8 Borrowdale Close

Earl Shilton

Leicestershire

Step 3:

Email your Payment Transaction receipt or goods invoice

We will receive your item, package and send on next Monday or Tuesday.

Once in SA we will clear customs and pay VAT on the goods, collect and send to your door.

Please contact for rates and further info.

How about a local telephone number as you will clear customs and pay VAT on the goods? Seems as if there is a local leg to the operation as well?

Nothing personal wnomell but this forum has been hit by a numer of scammers lately and I think it'll take more than a few posts on a website to get people to willingly ship their goods to a stranger in the UK.

Google has never heard of a "nomell forwarding"...

It sounds like a fine idea and it's a bit sad that trusting is even question but methinks you need to create some trust over here - references, testimonials, south africans that have used your services we can contact etc.

I want to order a TT frame from Ribble cycles UK. I have UK bank account and have no problem paying and sending this to a UK address. They dont ship to SA though. How much is this going to cost to ship to Sandton, Joburg ? or rather is this in scope for you ?

Er, Google has heard of "Nomell Forwarding"... but only in reference to this thread

Indeed. In my opinion someone who has a "small successful" company would have a Facebook/Twitter/local e-newspaper/some form of advertising that google would pick up...

Perhaps I'm ever the sceptic but there is no chance in hell I would get my goods shipped to a stranger with zero credentials in another country - there is no motivaton/proof/insurance that the goods will be forwarded to you and not end up on his bike!

Like I said before - a bit sad that in today's society it's a case of innocence lost...the poster has been a member here since 2009 if that helps?

I hope wnomell proves me wrong - it would be fantastic to have this kind of service.

Don't forget that standard duty and VAT will still apply.

A bit of a flaw with this model is that just about every ebay seller will only ship to the address registered to your paypal account. This is for fraud purposes and there are no ifs or buts to get around it. Otherwise not a bad idea.

Hi Eldron

Thanks for concern, and i do agree, any transaction 'Pre Paid' is a risk.

This is why i only post on thehubsa as its members are generally trusted. The risk is certainly no less buying a R 5000 bicycle that is paid before shipped locally. Generally small bits and pieces and even entire frames or wheelsets carry a risk of less than R 2000. Not too much pressure when saving up to 90% on parts abroad. Perhaps a good test would be to try something small to ensure trust and when hand delivered the goods, im sure views would change.

Yes it is a small and developing business focussing on hub buyers for now,

Clients in the past have all been family members and friends helping them get bits and pieces over at affordable rates.

Because i import for myself all the time, i am efficient and knowledgeable of the system and it takes a lot less effort for someone else to arrange it than yourself. Also, as stated, many buyers only ship to UK address.

It works, try it.

Regards

Wes
