Cycle"sure"- nothing sure about them!!

Will say your insurance is only as good as their claim process. Last week we had to claim from First 4 Women, new windscreen that got cracked. They would only process the claim if we had the original inspection certificate - thank goodness we still did.

 

Ironic that we had them for Feb-April and we claimed more than we paid them: New windscreen for Atos2 is R3500; excess R660; premiums paid for 3 months R 1140

 

PG should have sent them a copy of the cert to upload onto their system. They probably asked you for the copy as it wasn't received from PG yet.Glad it worked out in the end though.

Well my sister and her husband had the worst luck the past 16 days. First they stole her 1 year old Fortuner while they were ae a school sports day and exactly two weeks later they stole his 3 year old Hi-Lux. They've only been with the insurance since November.

Been with Santam...never had any problems....claimed a 3 times for stolen bikes....paid out...

All insurers will repudiate if there is no forcible entry. It is to prevent claimers from selling the stuff then claiming it was stolen.

Im in exactly the same position as you warned the rest.

 

Please stand with me as I am putting a very strong case forward.

 

Please have all your facts and truths in place.

 

I have the money and the time to take this case forward to the Ohmudsman and who ever it takes to have us clients to insurance companies treated with respect and honor our claims.

 

I also have Trek US and Trek SA supporting me, the more the better result.

Outsurance- no no been with them for 18 years. First bigger claim for my bike that got damaged -main pivot stripped and new frame needed 2 months after being serviced by my LBS - 3 weeks later they claim that it is wear and tear!!!!!They will likely pay small values…
