udxcob Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Who has a solution for me, I am so tired of trying to sort out my sons punctures on his 24" silverback.I have tried the ghetto conversion but the tires are so loose on the rim that it won't work.Any solutions?

javadude Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 I've also gone for the slime in the tubes route for my sons bike. Not sure if there is an alternative.
brad890 Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 get him a 26" bike if he is big enough? or maybe new tires that fit tighter on the rim for the conversion if getting them to seal and seat on the rim is the problem?

Actually managed to cycle 7km home and only had a flat the next day. OKO is the best. Was 20km from home two weeks back and went through a whole lot of thorns. Pulled them all out on the spot and continued cycling. Still have not inflated my tube.
