Go home tonight and switch on your red bike light, and if you have to light a torch to see if it is working.. CHANGE THE BATTERIES.

 

I got a group mtb's on the road this morning, One got a very sharp red light, good stuff, one guy had a red light in his LEFT SIDE POCKET, flashish through his weather jacket. 3 of the 5 have lights, but you cannot see it 5meters away (from behind)

 

I did not spoke to them, because it is early and not sure if they would like it.

 

Guys, pay the R100, but give yourself a change to get back hame for coffee and to take the kids to home.

+1 ! Saw a roadie on Bosmansdam in Edgemead at 6:45 this morning (still dark...) in black (probably Assos) clothing without helmet and no lights. Tried to take a picture, but might as well post a black square, that's how much one could see...
