i don't know how many of you follow slr lounge but they had some interesting pictures on there and i would like to know how it has been done. I know it is long exposure pics, but would all the lines be objects moving from the buildings? how did they get the "stretched" light effect. If anybody knows please share

My logic says zoom out while the photo is being taking?

mmmm that makes sense now that you mention it

Zoom burst as HelpMytrap said.

Need one helluva steady tripod and smooth lens to make it really slick.

Went to Harties today and up the new cableway.

They also now offer riders to take the bike up and chase down.

The new setup looks great.

Great pics! Do you have any details regarding timing, cost etc for taking bikes up the cableway? I have seen some pics of the ride down and it looks worth a try.

Thanks.

Not sure on the bike costs.

it is R 140 per person for the ride up and down.

Do you just pitch and ride or do you have to make special arrangements to take the bike up. Does the bike just go inside the normal gondala?

Not sure Richie, I would assume you could just pitch, however I would not advise busy times.

I did not see gondolas for bikes.

Give them a shout see what they say, they seem quite big on getting it off the ground.

It looks like there could be an awsome downhill ride, from what I remember, so it could become big for them if it catches on with bikers. I'll check it out. It'll make a change from Van Gaalens!
