Nice one Dangle. There are two roadhouses on that road and another two within 2 kays. Love taking my kids there for a Banana Sundae in my classic car. Still must get them to a drive in before they completely dissapear.

i must say dangle, the coloured picture works better than the black and white one .... love all the tones of colour

The mono was an extreme close-up, I have a colour version of another shot close up.

It just kinda popped nicely for me :)

@ Caad4, man I wish I had a classic car, but yes, both roadhouses are awesome :thumbup:

Thanks Patham, I needed that bud.

Not a winter person and I guess summer is closer than two months ago :D

If you feel crummy today, wait till Thursday, my phone is predicting a max of 7 degrees, a min of -2. Chilly to say the least.

@caad4 you mention the drive-in, the good old days.

Popcorn, burgers and hot dogs from the cafeteria, the speaker on the window and the windows misting up :lol: :lol:

This is what's missing. This is how we roll. Is that nice Wimpy diner still in Midrand? I've been wanting to take it there for some nice photo's for a few years now.

@caad4

The wife tells me that the diner is no longer :( :(

I love nostalgia and in many ways hope I could transform back to Jo'Burg in the 50's and 60's, looking back at books and history it looked like an awesome time, cool clothes, nice jazz and rich thriving culture.

Slowbee keeps wanting to look in to this "natural" image thing ;)

I have found that photos are a very objective thing, what one guy might find amazing, the next guy might find boring.

I have often found that you see something that looks cool to the eye, you take the snap get home and it's sort of OK.

Attached some stuff that will make the photographic community hurl comments and their breakfast :lol:

But the wife and the kids love it :thumbup:
