i recently bought a new KTM Ultra Sport. it has all of the items listed below(stock standard).

If you had R5000 to spend(know its minimal in bike terms) what would you upgrade first??

Oh, on my mtb, the first thing I upgraded was the fork. Suspension isn't for comfort, it's for handling. That's just me.

If you are not in top shape - lose weight (off your belly) first

Id say wheels as well. And if you sell the recon and buy a sid, it wouldnt be that big a financial loss... Then the frame but I dont really know ktm so cant truly judge where it should stand in the priority list!
