Omnico service!

Ahoy fellow dirt munchers!

 

I have a question to ask. Has Omnico's service got better or has it got worse in the last couple of years?

 

I have only encountered problems with them. When it comes to servicing or fixing shocks, they only get it rite on the 2nd or 3rd time.

Now I thought to myself, "Self, perhaps this only happens to me?" Then I started airing my grievances with my mates and fellow mtb riders, and 90% of them have also experienced frustrating ordeals with Omnico in the Western Cape.

 

Have you experienced problems with Omnico also? In years past I remember them having the royals royce of technitians.

Eish.....what has happened to them?

Waited 7 months to get a replacement frame. Nuff said !

For shocks I send it to Lance at Epic cycles. He does it right the first time every time. I used to use Omnico but agree with you 100%

I've actually only had good service from them.

I'm considering a 'dale from them, because their support is just so damn good.

Lance at the Epic bike shop is brilliant. Omnico does tend to give a couple of problems here and there...

If you can, do the work yourself and cut them out of the picture - monkeys!

My handlebar mount for my Sigma Power Led bike light broke , wanted to order one through them and they said no they only work with dealers I have to order via a bike shop the item in question as they do have stock. At the moment considering to just buy a new light for my bike as it's such a hassle just to get a new mount for the Sigma...
