I wondered what happened to that guy - for some reason I always have him in mind when it is TDF...maybe because he was one of the 'bigger' riders...dont know.

... that the average Grand Tour rider has to consume HALF his daily nutrition whilst ON THE BIKE and the other half post-ride otherwise he will run out of time before sleeptime to replenish and restore his body system in time for the next day's racing? :w00t: :w00t:...
