mark ellis Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 I can honestly say the 96 was the worst bike I have ever owned, unless I had a "monday" bike. Shocks and forks never worked as they should, that bike spent more time in the workshop than it did on the trail. but I have mates who love theirs so guess we all like different rides

EZRider Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I got my Merida 99 yesterday.It's the XT-D version and I have upgraded with Crossmax wheels.The bike is very pretty, much nicer in person, just a pity that I have injured my back and have to wait a few days before riding!
