Sounds good, but those numbers dont add up.

28.5 + 36 + 13.8 + 23.5 = 101.8km?

Oh ok, i see they dont include the TTT in the calc, that makes it 73.3.

Interesting, they start with a TTT and then end with a TT, I guess the last day is not going to be nice and easy. Racing from day one to the last, stuff this thing of, if I can't beat you in three weeks I can't beat you on the last day... Evil%20Smile

When I read the topic I almost thought this was the Giro del Capo...

There are lots and lots of brutal mountains in there as well, and one of the TTs is a hillclimb. I think Fabian will take a back seat to guys like Simoni, Piepoli & co. (that is IF Simoni's team get a wildcard)

How about a win for Soler Clap

this from sapa yesterday:

TEAM, SOLER LOOK AT GIRO
Last year's Tour de France star climber, Mauricio Soler, has met with Team Barloworld manager Claudio Corti to study the 2008 Giro d'Italia route, where the Colombian believes he can do well.
The Tour polka dot jersey winner enjoyed a sensational breakout year in 2007, with his efforts in the French Grand Tour leading to compliments from the Colombian president and resulted in the rider being awarded the 2007 Colombian Athlete of the Year title.

and a quote:

"I'd obviously have to train well but I think I can do well in the Giro because there are some really tough mountain stages that suit me," Soler said. "There are lots of riders that did well in the past in both these important stage-races in the same year. I know 2008 is going to be a very important and difficult season, but I'm really motivated and can't wait to start racing again."
