What you guys think about this deal?

Please check out this deal and tell me what you think. I feel its a bit pricey. It is in very good condition, but feel i shouldn't be paying more than R4500 for it.

He wasn't willing to go lower than R5 500 at the time. What would you offer for it if you were in my shoes?

Im just looking for some advice on the bike, im not a guru on bikes so any help would have been nice. Plus theres not much for sale at the moment in the western cape for bikes in a large size. ;-) Just want to make sure im making a good purchase.

32 spoke wheels, you won't break them anytime soon that's for sure, Bontager crank, Welgro pedals, looks like old ultegra RD, guessing 9 speed.

Ok, So spoke to a guy at a cycle shop who told me i should not spend more than R3000 - R3500 seeing as i could get a new one for no more than R6999.

 

Anyone who disagrees?

I would not pay more than R3000 for a Sora equipped bike on the second hand market. Treks are nice,but over priced. For R5 500 you can pick up a 10 speed bike with better wheels on the second hand market.
