Iron Posted September 9, 2011 Share Sweet looking bike!!!! I saw the scott scale 29 pro at cwc the other day, carbon with full xt except shfters which is slx. Internal cabling with oversized bb, a real beaut of a machine. Retailing for R23k. Def part of my list when im buying new bike although this cube will be ranked with thatas well. Choices choices :-) funny , the new Scott 29 pro has Sram on it , i wonder if CWC changed it. http://www.scott-sports.com/us_en/product/11258/63853/221721 , check it out

Darryl O Posted September 9, 2011 Share Somethings are worth waiting for.Besides at least you know you getting a 2012 bikeand not a '2012' bike with 2011 components like most the2012 bikes already out.

It had avid 55 (never seen them before) brakes. Also, im just guessing its the pro as this one was carbon and R23000 but the frame has no model number that i could see. Still, sweet looking bike though, both of tem :-) Must admit i prefer shimano though. If i do take the bike, i want to change the brakes to xt as well.
