chris_w_65 Posted September 11, 2011 Share Super stoked. Just put my name on the waiting list for the new Cube Reactions 29 GTC SL. What are your thoughts?Geometry on the bike looks awesome. It has a standard 26" wheelbase, seat tube angle and fork angle! It is hard to believe it is the same wheelbase and your shoe wouldn't touch. How did they manage to squeeze an extra 3 inches inside the wheelbase?
Whatsup! Posted September 13, 2011 Share Not sure how they did it but I suppose thats German engineering.I know there is a new Cube design of mounting the front derailer, giving extra space and clearance.Clever b@stards
Jaco-fiets Posted September 13, 2011 Share Meet the flagship hardtail 29er: The first one in the country will be mine. Awsome bike! What does it retail for? I think cube has some of the sweeetest mtbs around!
stringbean Posted September 13, 2011 Share They must have some really crappy 26' geometry because the geometry on their 29ers are pretty standard, even a bit longer than giant and specialized.

Whatsup! Posted February 23, 2012 Share I think I should maybe start a new thread. What tubeless kits work best for 29ersIf you go the getto option of a bmx tire, will it still work on a 29er?
Mackie Posted February 23, 2012 Share I'm sure that all kits work equally well on 26/29. Start another 29er thread? Please don't.
Andre Maree Posted February 23, 2012 Share This thing has got that same G2 geometry as the Gary Fishers, so its got a G2 fork, which I don`t like, then I saw the new Merida Big 9s coming out, much better value and tops the Cube on my shopping list. Whatsup! Posted February 24, 2012 Share I test rode the Cube Acid 29er at Rietvlei and the geometry to awesome. The Agile Ride Geometry really does make a massive difference. After that I was sold on a Cube, beside the looks and the quality.Cant wait to collect this afternoon. Any recomendations on 29er tubeless kits. Which works best?
