Mark091 Posted October 20, 2011 Share I am a newbie, i want to buy one pair MTB shoes , any advice for you everyone? which brand i should trust? Or could you share your shoes by here?
DJR Posted October 20, 2011 Share I found Specialized very comfortable, but like helmets and shorts, it is a very individual thing that depends on the shape of your feet. Try various ones on before you buy. Road shoes should be tight and don't worry too much about walking in them. Mtb shoes should be a little more flexible and you should be able to walk comfortably with them. Buy Mtb shoes if you want to buy only 1 pair. RoboLuke Posted October 20, 2011 Share I have broad feet...I find Shimano works very well with that. I've had entry level shoes, and now I have stiff racing shoes. Honestly - I cannot see the difference in my riding.
pawpaw Posted October 25, 2011 Share I use Specialized MTB shoes. They are a bit more expensive than the cheapest MTB shoes at Sportmans Warehouse, but so far I am very happy. I am new to cycling myself, but I think you will be fine if you go with any of the major brands.
