Slipping Seat Post

Is it possible to get a similar product locally ? Tried to google it but keeps throwing out CRC etc .

I bought some at Revolution Cycles not too long ago. Originally went to CWC only to be laughed at by the 'sales' consultant who insisted such a thing doesn't exist (note to self, NEVER buy a carbon bike, or anything else from them).

CRC has it in stock. Get the small tube, you don't need much.

Wrong product there. That's carbon grease. NOT the same. The product we're looking at here is an assembly paste that has tiny granules in it. This creates friction, and when clamped on, one requires much less torque to get a proper connection going. It is in fact recommended in the RockShox Reverb assembly guide.

Had the same problem with my merida HFS 1000 and FSA seatpost. I eventually broke the seat clamp quick release and bought a specialized seat clamp (non quick release). Still had the same problem, seatpost slipping especially on bumpy terrain. Eventually bought a KCNC seatpost, which surface is machined much rougher than the FSA seatpost. Installed the new seatpost, saved a few grams and it hasnt slipped since...

had a similar problem on my Orbea - apply some copper compound to seat post on installation, let it dry for a day or two and you shoud be fixed. :)
