flymango Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I haven't been to Meerendal for a while, and was surprised on Saturday morning to see the lower loop at Meerendal is gone. Noticed that the two wooden bridges were dismantled, and the signs took us back to the car park just before the dam. Correct?
Disylizzy Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 I don't know about the whole lower loop, but I know that a while back they shortened it because of lambing season. Apparently the cyclists scared the sheep and a lot of lambs were abandoned by the ewes and died.

I certainly can't POP OVER it, even as strong as I feel after 3 espressos and a Red Bull!
