Vernon gets to 50 wickets.

The 2nd fastest in the history of the game.

I think the fastest oke was from the early 20th century or 19th century or something.

The series win in NZ is inevitable - in all 3 modes of the game.

Proteas depart from NZ with a test series win, after similar success in ODI and 20/20.

Somewhere else in the cricketing world, Sri Lanka at home have a 200 1st innings lead over troubled England, who has 4 wickets in hand.

After the 3-0 snotklap by Pakistan recently, the English are no facing a 320 plus 4th innings chase against Sri Lanka in SL.

They were dazzled by spin in the 1st innings and bowled out for less than 200.

Nice showdown between Sri Lanka and ENgland on day 4...

84 runs to win, 3 wickets in hand, spinning magic by the home team in Galle.

The 'Lankans roll over the spin-bedazzled English.

T'was good to follow.

If England lose this 2 match series, the Proteas head up the Test ranking ladder.

The 2nd of two tests in Sri Lanka:

Real good cricket!

Lanka was on the ropes at 30/3 in the first innings.

With a Jayawardena century and good support batting, they're at 256/6.

SHOULD ENGLAND DRAW OR LOSE THIS TEST, THE PROTEAS WILL GET TOP SPOT IN TEST RANKINGS.

When they tour England in June, gonna be interesting.

Come Lankans. Give them horns. Sri Lanka been playing non stop since they came here in November. Boys must be tired. One more big effort for us.

KP gets his 20th century...

And that was one of the most enthusiastic celebrations I've seen from a player, other than Imran Tahir.

Superb Test cricket between Sri Lanka and England.

Day 4 and it could go either way.

Suspense.

Skill.

No clear outcome.

Brilliant!

SA thrashing Bangladesh.

But still some worries. Parnell just doesn't seem to be getting it right very often nowadays. The team a bit sloppy in the field too but this is probably to be expected in the first match (although as professionals you should argue not).

Its embarassing to be spanked by Zimbabwe and then followed by a beating from Bangladesh. Eish...

I laaik it when giants topple every now and then.

Good for the game.
