IMPORTANT NOTICE! 2011 National Sport and Recreation Indaba

The National Sport and Recreation Indaba, set to take place at Gallagher Estate on November 21 and 22 offers a unique chance for South Africans across all Sporting Codes and Organisations to get together and help formulate a blueprint for the future of Sport in our country.

While your National Federation/ Sports Council will no doubt bring a host of ideas to the table and help debate the intricate and important points with passion at the Indaba, we would like to hear from as many voices as possible.

The blueprint that will come out of the Indaba will be the pathway for the entire sports fraternity in the country, and by implication for all sportsmen and women, as well as fans and administrators to ensure we move forward as a nation, with one voice and with one common goal.

However, it is not a debate that can take place in isolation, and while delegates at the Indaba will have their National Federations’ best interests at heart, we would like to encourage you to distribute this email among your members, encouraging them to raise their voice and views on the draft Sports and Recreation Plan which can be found on www.srsa.gov.za <http://www.srsa.gov.za> as well as highlighting any other pertinent points we should be discussing at the Indaba.

No subject is too controversial and no suggestion is denied. We want to hear every voice, every suggestion and every point to ensure we have a cauldron of suggestions to debate at the Indaba.

With this in mind, please can you direct your members to our Twitter and Facebook accounts below, where they can leave suggestions, debate salient points and above all, make their voice heard as we work towards a common goal of a better sporting future for South Africa.

The Twitter feed is as follows @SportIndaba2011 or click <http://www.twitter.com/SportIndaba2011>

The Facebook page is https://www.facebook...creation-Indaba or click <https://www.facebook...155920381153186>

All suggestions, tips, questions and ideas will be appreciated.

NAF COC Really? Dont touch me on my NAF COC - what a ridiculous name

Anyway - got the email from CSA - just brushed over it, but sounds like some bureaucratic meeting to prove that Sport South Africa has public participation

NAFCOC if I'm not mistaken stands for National African Federated Chamber Of Commerce.

I just found that out with the goooogle thing.

I was just looking for the loo. But so were most of the NAFCOC delegates.
