Okay it is confirmed slick and crew is camping with their club!

So, Sir M must decide where he wants to camp and then maybe we can get the two groups to camp next to each other?!

Not sure how this works or what the set up is as i've never been to one of these, so please help if I'm getting it wrong!

Yeah, our camp is with Thug, 4barlinkage etc with about 5 teams. I'm going solo with missSlick. I did invite Mr Maxxis to camp with us before we knew about this crowd of Hubbers. We will just try to get the camps close together. ;)

Good question. We pissed on someone's batteries badly 2 years ago at Rietvlei when we unknowingly squatted on his reserved camping spot.

How does it work, Ridemyplanet?

"Camping for the Bicycling 24 Hour event is strictly Saturday evening only. No camping is available on the Friday evening at all. If you wish to set up/demarcate your site on Friday afternoon it will be allowed."

got this off the facebook page.

No ways. Rest and recovery is the most important part of training! Make sure to continue to carbo load adequately in the weeks leading up to the big day. Also continue to avoid any strenuous activity which may elevate your heart rate.

This way I'll at least beat 1 person at the 24 hr :-)

Carbo loading as we speak.

Do you think I should sleep late rather than cycle and eat more fast food?

A finely tuned athlete such as yourself who continues his carbo loading late into a week night needs only to trust his instincts when it comes to matters of nutrition and sleeping patterns.

Ok I confess - I copied and pasted that out of the battle plan thread :-(
