what do you guys use to edit, do the slow-mo stuff?

My settings: For slowmo, GoPro must be set at highest frame rate (120FPS). Convert MP4 to WAV via GoPro Cineform. Then import into Windows Movie Maker 6.0 (the newer version doesn't have a great interface and its diffuclt to snip and cut.) For slowmo, cut the section you want out, then selecting that section, slow down the playback 1x, 2x etc as many times as you want, add effects and transitions and wallah!

.... you missed good single track going up in the beginning on your left

And more a little more up on about 1:40 in the clip

@ 5:00 .... "out of my way I am coming through" .... no you did not!

Damned ... it looks like you went all the way up the dirt road and down the same way again ... what a waste of a ride at Tokai!

@capediver, what extension stick to you use?

The end of one of my mounts from GoPro fits perfectly into the top end of a camera mini tripod leg! Same tripod leg securing bolt holds it in place and it can be extended out and pulled back easily.

Cool, next time you are there take that first ST on the left after you pass the boom. It will take you back to the main drag again.

Following this just take any of the ST that you can find and don't worry about getting lost as all the trail lead to some place in CT and in time some other riders will find you and offer directions :)

Shot Hairy! I got the maps and stuff but still new to MTB so stick mostly to jeep tracks for now with the odd blue or green route now and then.....nearly came a major cropper at the first drop at Snake eyes! scared the bejesus outta me! Hearing about that dude who had to get carried out of there didn't help either!

BTW no ride at Tokai is wasted for me.....having it on my doorstep, in the "middle" of town, cycling there and just revelling in the place while I'm home is a treat...most of year is spent in the desert!

@Dillonk21, My 1st clip is of the same spot as your 3rd. Gotta love the bombhole!

I was surprised how steep the drop in was! It was my first ride in the spruit in Dill's vids, I'm the guy with the sexy blue wheels in the one clip. I look so slow it feels like I'm going backwards.
