Dodz Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Hi all Im having problems with my Sigma speedo, it picks up the speed and distance fine for a couple km's then nothing!!! Could this be the magnet/sensor or shud I do a battery change? I dont think its a battery because its works 100% (for a while) and the display is perfect. Any suggestions?
Tumbleweed Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Might be a loose wire. The magnet may be slipping. Have you tried adjusting it after it stops reading?

nuge Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 check that the sensor is securely fastened, sounds like it's slipping while you ride. i wrapped electrical tape around the sensor unit on the fork to stop it from moving around as the little rubber bands they supply you with are pretty flimsy and in my opinion not sufficient. i recall that the gap between the sensor and magnet had to be pretty tight in order for them to read so they are fairly sensitive to movement.
