And why do a lot of bikes these days come out WITHOUT pedals? MJ MJ ... how the hell are you going to fit pedals on a BB? Please post a photo. You'll have more luck fitting pedals on the crank. But if you have a Sram BB it is a GXP BB and your Shimano crank won't fit. Why no pedals on new bikes?A lot of entry to mid level mtb's come with pedals as part of the package. Higher specked bikes (aimed at serious racers such as yourself ) the racers normally have tried out a couple of different brands and prefer to install additional accessories of their choice!
