Dusty Posted January 31, 2012 Share Has anyone used or is anyone using the Lizard Skin Shock boots. Do they work?http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=4761
MrJacques Posted January 31, 2012 Share Actually seems like a good idea, like when forks still had rubber boots over them to keep dust out. I guess the dust seals are better these days than what they used to be, but if something that doesn't look too bad can help keep my fork in better condition for longer I'd be happy with that! Iron Posted January 31, 2012 Share We use to use these back in the day , only problem is you will get mud/sand/grit under it that turns to grinding paste and scratches the hell out of your stanchions. The new lip seals used today are fine, I don’t recommend them. M2c Edited January 31, 2012 by Iron
