Not that I know of. I believe that he maintained his innocence.

innocence? - why did he settle before taking the stand? Why no press? actions of a guilty pervert

Rumour has it he signed an acknowledgement of guilt stating that he abused his power with her from the age of 15...makes you think...

But that's just a rumour. This was a civil case, so there was no guilty or not guilty. The "no press" is to protect the plaintiff as well as the respondent. To play devil's advocate, why would the plaintiff settle for just over 10% of her initial damages claim?

Because this route it only cost him 300k, spend a couple years in court fighting this, A it becomes public news and B will cost Millions. If i was in his shoe's i would just have coughed up as well.

Besides if your 14 and sleeping with someone twice your age, your already mentally @#$#@$ up.So no sympathy for her.

Don't agree much with you here, who is to say she gave him permission.

In Canada there are two ages of consent. 16 for most circumstances and 18 where the sexual activity "exploits" the young person -- when it involves prostitution, pornography or occurs in a relationship of authority, trust or dependency

Dangle if she didnt give him permission (yes legally she can't) she would have gone with rape and not statutory rape convictions, secondly I dont know many people that willingly date their rapists when they do come of age.
