That should be the safest road on East rand. The section to the yellow line is almost as wide as a standard lane.

I understand the seriousness of the thread, but with your history, I am wondering how you managed to take yourself out this time.

 

Thinking of the cyclist. May he/she recover fully from his/her injuries.

Taxi pulled in in front of me, and stopped suddenly. I turned the Emergency Exit into and Emergency Entrance.

 

I thought so.

 

Most of the problems on that road with cyclists are taxi related.

 

Due to the large yellow lane, cyclists love it, but so do the taxi's with all those companies there.

 

I have also heard of bad accidents when cyclists make the turn at the top of the road.

I have also heard of bad accidents when cyclists make the turn at the top of the road.

 

Never rode it since then. I rather take the MTB behind the estate on the right, cut across the road, then follow the dirt track around the top of the airport.

no idea who he was with....a mate of mine had a epiletic fit on the bicycle yesterday...i kaked myself... he broken shoulder, broken wrist, punctured lung, his neck ******...grazed right knee grazed right arm. Sigh life is short...200m before the crash asked him how he was feeling and he said great...next moment down and we were riding at a 15 avg...
