6.45 am looks like a guy lying on the intersection on atlas taking you into Denel. Wonder what happened?

EMS on the Scene, taken away by Ambulance. There were other cyclists standing around, a white bakkie arrived to take the bicycles and other cyclists away. Don't know what happened, anyone got more info?

That should be the safest road on East rand. The section to the yellow line is almost as wide as a standard lane.

I got taken out in the yellow lane heading north near Denel five years ago.

How?

Taxi pulled in in front of me, and stopped suddenly. I turned the Emergency Exit into and Emergency Entrance.

I understand the seriousness of the thread, but with your history, I am wondering how you managed to take yourself out this time.

Thinking of the cyclist. May he/she recover fully from his/her injuries.

Please stay safe out there.

I thought so.

Most of the problems on that road with cyclists are taxi related.

Due to the large yellow lane, cyclists love it, but so do the taxi's with all those companies there.

I have also heard of bad accidents when cyclists make the turn at the top of the road.

Never rode it since then. I rather take the MTB behind the estate on the right, cut across the road, then follow the dirt track around the top of the airport.
