Can never not support the Bokke. There's always the chance they will beat the AB's in SA, but would be nice to get to a situation where you just can't call it and it could go either way.

Neat kick by Lambie! Pity it gave the ball to the Blacks!

Kicking is the over-used option

The Kiwis move so quickly out of their red zone with their silky skills

Yeah only because our coach can't come up with something that resembles a game plan. Only one team going to win this. Our scramble defense is not going to save us tonight. We are only aiding the Blacks with poor defense.

A great half of rugby, with the AB's in front purely because of being the side in form.

In golf it's called the rub of the green, and they certainly let have had the 50/50 calls go their way.

I really hope the Bokke can perform for another 40 mins.

Coach strategy maybe

Not sure whether player skills up to it either hey - moving the ball, building phases, retaining ball, etc

Phew

Big call on the half time whistle [emoji12]

if there is one rule that needs to change, it's the rolling maul.

It works well for teams that know how to use but if the ball carrier had to be at the front it would make it a contest for the ball - which it should be.

Rather scrappy in my opinion. Blacks not aiding their own cause with poor handling. If we keep giving the Blacks space as we have we might stare at a 50 point deficit easily. Guts and gumption keeping us in touch for the moment. As with last week there's no evidence that the Boks have anything that resembles structure or a plan other than kicking.

Scrappy yes, but the AB's are making the mistakes because of two things, (1) they aren't focused enough thinking it will be a walk in the pace, or (2) they're under pressure just like they put on other teams.

Edit: this is not their B-team

It's as much game management as it is playing skills. We have always been a team that has had a rep for being very structured without the ability to vary our play. What worries me is there seems to be no structure to our play. Against good teams this will always have us on the back foot.
