TiBones Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 For those of you that remember the now infamous Teeter Totter on the spruit, below DHL, a few questions as this issue will not go away.....
(Deon) Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Interested to know what the issue was/is??How many complaints/injuries?? Enough to warrant a body to manage?
TiBones Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 A few complaints, one serious injury. personally don't think it needs a managing body though - just feeling it out.
David Greyling Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 As far as I could tell there was a body to manage it, apparently it was called "common sense". Even met a few of the members of the body, can't remember all their names but "check before you ride", "if you're not sure, take the alternative line" and "know your limits" were definitely in the group.... slowpoke 1
TiBones Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 Hahaha, yip, great group - they are still together, keeping trails safe throughout South Afica.

I've found these two guys are sometimes absent from my own personal mtb safety management body. They are then respresented by a proxy member called "delusions". It always end in tears!
Wayne Potgieter Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Do you know what "health and safety" was reffered to in the old days? COMMON SENSE.
TiBones Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 BUMP. Please Hubbers, let me have your opinions on this - I do need the info....
slowpoke Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 While I never rode it myself I loved it.... It was always fun to watch the guys riding it and other obstacles.
