Napalm Posted February 29, 2012 Share In so far as CSA charging a R35 day licence per rider for the 9 days of Joburg2C, If I were the J2C organisers, I would fight CSA's demand for a R35 per day fee. J2C is not 9 separate races and I bet CSA's constituiton and regulations only specify the R35 payable as a day licence for a (single) RACE. I reckon, it is totally unenforceable. Actually it's not. The Giro del Capo was always a UCI level event, until someone screwed up the sponsorship. Hence, they lost their UCI status, and the last one (?) held was considered a series rather than one race. Subsequently the CSA is well within their rights to charge a day fee for each leg.
Velouria Posted February 29, 2012 Share I see the Tour de Langkawi is on at the moment. Where is the SA team? Seems like we've gone from having GC contenders to not even putting in a team. And I bet CSA will blame this on Pedal Power, Cell C and anyone else they can think of...

Barend de Arend Posted March 2, 2012 Share Is there any reason why the SA Champs not broadcasted on TV? CSA didn't pay CSA the TV broadcast add-on price.
