Anybody here using these? Ocean Eyeware Photochromic's. Got me a pair for just over 500 bucks. Transition is really quick between light and dark and even back from dark to light. They really work great. Yeah yeah i know they aint bling as Rudy's or the like but they are great for a cyclist like me always having to watch the budget

On my BB so I can't see where you are located. My mate in Jhb is looking for a pair like this. Where did you get yours?

Yeah where'd you get those? Using them for road or mtb? How long you had them?

 

R500 sounds like the business for a pair of glasses for mtb. Long past the blingy Oakley, Rudy Project, etc. thing - one muddy ride/race and they poked anyway.

Look very nice ,do they have a optic insert avail for them aswell ?

I have a pair, they certainly do the job. Used them all of 24 hour solo last year .....

 

Bought mine at Just Cycles in Alberton (011-869-0646)

 

I doubt they can take optic inserts but I may (small chance ) be wrong ....

I'm down in Cape Town. Got one pair at ReCycles in Bellville for the other half and got my pair at Somerset Sports. Most places that stock Ocean Eyeware stock these but I must admit that they are a bit scarse as they sell quick cause of the good price. R550 incl the hard case is a bargain.

 

I am a dirt junky so I only ride mtb. They fit snugly and do not fog up at all.

 

If you can get them snap them up as they are worth every cent.

I have the same pair.

 

Bought them at Cajees.

 

But to be honest i never use them, my eyes are really sensitive and i upgraded to the rudy project.

 

I found the oceans never got dark enough for my needs.

 

However, the Rudy projects are truly awesome.

 

I use those daily.

 

Riding glasses, golf, and for just driving around.

 

Best glasses i have ever bought.
