Saw a lot of cyclists, road and MTB out riding today....and I spent most of it trying to get back to Jbay from the KKNK. awesme has arrived in my hometown, so I am sure to go for a light spin/suicide ride seeing as my lazy crack has not been on a bike for about six months

Things still going according to plan. Breedts yesterday, Suikerbosrand today. Will be running 19km tomorrow instead of resting. Monday I'll see what the Country Challenge has in store for me. Everything should work out to about 9 to 10 hours of "training"(killing myself rather) for the long weekend.

Nice ride today. First time out to breedts neck and over, pass little shop and carried on till tar road, turn right and then left on the dirt road to do another 10km, Manage 83km, 20.2 km/avg included stopping times. Should be able to ramp it up to 21km/avg. Let see if I can stretch it to 100+ tomorrow if the legs will co-operate. Nice joberg2C training.

That second gravel road coming back is a bit nasty(used to be for me). Sandy on the far end, and hilly towards the shebeen. The fact that you can see the back of Breedtsnek is not helping much :( Actually I like it as it leaves you with a sense of accomplishment doing it, but I wimped out of it yesterday. Went to punish myself in Suikerbosrand today for that.

That road is the most awesome. Nearly totalled a polo playa there the one time. But we just reversed out of the bushes and carried on...

No riding today, but a two hour run under the belt. Bike wash for the Country Challenge later this morning and then some Spring Classic TV action this afternoon
