Some tubless advise needed guys, I'm running the Maxxis Ust tubless tires & i bottomed out my tire & rim the weekend obviously due to being underflated, did a proper job dinging it well. There is a cut/hole just above the bead, how do I repair this, do I plug the hole or should i patch the hole from the inside using an old piece of tire or tube? Also will the ding create space between rim & bead causing air to escape? Thanks in advance.

I've found dinged rims will seal fine - you could try gently bending the edge of the rim as straight as you dare taking care not to crack it. Use a large spanner, not pliers. I've also successfully patched a pinched tyre using a standard tube patch and glue - I would rather patch than plug in that area.

You might still get it to seal with a new tyre. But not if you plug it and the plug is too close to the rim. I have 2 dinged rims that still seal, but had to replace both tyres.
