An average of 21km......... very impressive for a training ride with the amount of hills that there are.

What sort of ascent did you get ?

I did a 100k ride yesterday out to Lanseria but the group was too large and our average ended up being around 16.5

Yep, although according to my H/R average it was close to race pace. The climbing was 1745m.

I forgot to start my Polar on one flat section for about 5km.Ouch

About half is on tar. Breedsnek was very busy and the surface was rocky and rutted after the rain.

For someone who started cycling 18 months ago , mrmed can climb hills like a goat. I think I lost 10 minutes on both Breedsnek and Hekpoort.

As for the speed on the flats - I wish to thank my DT Swiss hubs and my killer bee tyres. Now can someone do something about my voice?
