Thanks all, Trek have come back and will replace the rim for free but I pay for the rebuild which I think is fair. Hoping this will not be a common occurrance.

Greetings all, This past weekend I cracked my Bontrager Kovee Elite 30 carbon rear rim. I was not doing anything technical at all. I was riding down a jeep track and somehow a rock managed to hit my rear rim from the side. Images below. The other thing is my bike is 2 years and 1 month old and thus the full replaced warranty is no longer after 2 years. I just want to know if anyone else has had this and if this is normal or just a freak incident? Thanks Paul

Seems a number of us experiencing a problem with Zwift and Discovery activity uploads. Have also de-linked and relinked but activities still not uploading since 20 Jan. Zwift activities upload to Garmin connect and Strava 100% so must be a problem on Discovery side.

Hi All, I had a little lie down and somehow my thumb lever on the shifter has moved. When I use it it pushes against the other lever. How do I adjust it back. The is a little bolt underneath but not sure if that is used for this purpose. I have add images to help withthe problem. Thanks in advance Paul

Really enjoyed the event. Did the 2 day big mountain. Those last 11km down the mountain back to Clarens was epic. Agrred on bringing your climbing legs for this event.

What route did you take?

Who all is doing this? Heading down tomorrow for a great weekend.

Hi All We are a small bunch of MTB'ers who ride Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sundays. If you are in the area and looking for somebody to ride with please join us. Safety in numbers ;-). We are not racing snakes and average around 18-20kmph on our rides, normally the pace of the slowest person. To give you an indication, we have guys from Bryanston, Rivonia, Craigavon and Kyalami that are part of this group so come form all over to meet at Main and Witkoppen. In the week we meet at Witkoppen and Main at around 5:13am to leave at 5:15am sharp for a total of a 2 hr cycle. Normally I get home just before 7am to give you an indication. Hey Guys This is a QR axle. Did both failures occur in the same part of the axle? Yes Was the extender present in both cases? Yes What type of hub? Novatec Hard tail or full sus? HT Rider weight? 77kg Speed and severity of impacts? Not sure Is there any jumping involved? No jumping

Hi All I have had the same issue twice now in less than a month. The axle that is inside the rear hub which the skewer goes through has cracked in half. As mentioned this has happened twice now. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks Paul
