Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted April 5, 2012 Share Taken mine off both of my bikes (DH & XC) Reason? Lever positioning. the indicators foul with the brake levers. Last night I removed my front derailleur from the XC bike. Converted to a 1x9. Also dremelled my right hand deore shifter so I could place it in the right way. No need for gear position indicators as I can feel where I am, and if i have no more gears, it just simply won't shift... Getting bar ends & a wider bar soon.
