Hey hubbers...................know if any of the "brands" will be showing of their bikes at the Rand Show, and maybe running specials ??

LMAO.............was just wondering if it there would be any marketing by the bigger brands, would be worthwhile to make a stop for us buggers not lucky enough to go on holiday over this period?

I wouldn't bother, a mate of mine exhibited there two years ago and I helped a bit on the stand for a day or two, if you like crowds, oily food, hot and stuffy halls, African print clothing and cheap patch leather jackets it may be worthwhile, otherwise spend the time at the local mall and take in a movie.

I very much doubt you will see a bicycle there, or at least one most people here would find interesting.

Sigh, remember the days it was at Milpark?

I remember them building a BMX track with wooden start ramp and jump. Greg Hill and Stu Thompson were there.

Yeah, actually those days it was quite good, at least worth a visit anyway, lots of countries used to exhibit as well, I booked a trip to the Greek Islands just from visiting the show ...........but nowadays......Uh-Uh.!

 - Ha,Ha, sharp this morning hey!

Did you see in the news about the elderly man who shot himself in the square in Athens.? Seems he left a note blaming the austerity measures and the poor economy, said he cant live on his pension anymore (and he was a retired pharmacist) so he felt it better to bow out with dignity than be found scratching through the trash for food.

Caused a major stir in Greece with thousands protesting again, albeit peacefully this time.
