I know people are saying that they are 'building' for the tour but I want my champs to grab the season by the throat from the off so that the rest of the pack are quivering about the level of hurt that will come when the grand tour pain wagon rolls into town. A la Merckx, Anquetil, Hinault and the like.

Not sure how I feel about that, I like time bonuses and the opportunities they make but to take the lead in a tour based on one seems like you got shag with a mates girlfriend. Sure you had a good time but you know you're a bit of a sneak and feel a bit dirty. If you want the jersey, make a proper move on it like you would the hottest girl at the party.
