The BBC are to air a documentary that uses helmet cameras to explore the growing conflict between cyclists and motorists on Britain's roads.

The broadcaster says the one-off hour long film, The War On Britain’s Roads, will "parachute (viewers) into the middle of a war that is raging between two-wheeled road users and their four-wheeled counterparts".

Imagine the SABC doing something like this? No, I can't either. But I'm sure the BBC version will be pretty scary viewing when aired.

Wonder if they will have microphones so they can record what stupid things are said...from both sides.

Great idea, should make for very interesting viewing. The BBC is generally regarded as more 'fair and balanced' than most other news sources so they have a good chance to make an impact here.
