Got the Breakaway for road use. It is hard and sore to break your sit bones in (about 200kms) after that it is like a Gomma Gomma. I will never ride anything else. A bonus is that I no longer have numbnuts. :)

The forward width is but one of the visible ways that the Adamo saddles are different. The nose of the saddle is actually split into two forward projections, like a fork. The cutout between the forked tips takes away the pressure on your perineal artery. Tests on the ISM saddles have shown them to have little effect on normal blood flow to the genital area (less than 5% loss). Compared to some saddles tested, and shown to affect the blood flow up to 95%, it's clear that ISM saddles are a great improvement. So if you want to have a good ride and a great evening, the ISM Adamo Saddle is what you should be sitting on. :whistling:

They are expensive, ugly and weigh a ton(almost 2X a Fizik Arione) but are very comfortable on long rides.

You say they are expensive. How much do they cost?

They are cheaper than most 'good' saddles. I got a new one for just over a grand about a year ago. The tiny weight difference is nothing compared to prolonged use of your penis
