We take a straight R 200 fee for cancellation plus any bank charges, more than 30 days prior to commencement. This sounds more reasonable. Consulting a lawyer is a very costly exercise and I am unsure whether to let this go or pursue it further. if you consult a lawyer you will very quickly get to the 1800 figure in costs. not worth it at all...
