Officially retiring on Sunday, he is bound to become involved in a management role with GreenEdge, Australia's 1st World Tour Cycling Team. His final race is the Tour of Cali 2012.

This dude has earned a thread!

Take a bow, Robbie.

one of the best bike handlers in the pro peleton and one of my favorite sprinters. He would appear out of nowhere, with or without lead-out to take a sprint.

Still really want to read he's book!!

Interesting that he does not want to do one last Tdf,even if it is just to leadout Goss.

From cyclingnews.com:

The Australian will hang up his racing bike after today's stage and move into a role as technical advisor for his team. McEwen said that the race was a good choice as a final blow-out, "because I suffered so badly this week I don't think I"m going to miss it for some time to come."

Who said sprinting is not an art form?
