Tri-coach Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I am in the market for deeper profile carbon racing wheels. I am not Brand conscious. I have seen the no name imported wheel sets being advertises on the web for between R5000 and R8000 new. Would appreciate some feedback from people that had some experience with these wheels?
ibruegge Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 the one worry I always have when riding my road bike down a fast hill is " what happens if..." - and a no-name / unknown-source wheel would not take that worry away.
Tubehunter Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 The roadbike I bought 2nd hand has a set of these unbranded carbon tubbies. Think the previous buyer bought them from Summit Cycles. Cycled the Argus on them and had no issues. Must admit that I am tempted to see if anyone with clinchers is looking to trade for the tubbies... Still considering...
