I searched, but did not find anything.

I know it depends on a lot of factors, but:

1. What life should I get out of a rear (like geax aka). 70% gravel riding.

2. Do you use yours until the knobs are gone, 1mm etc.......

Sorry, bit of a noob regarding this?

I put the evo pacestar racing ralphs on last year about august did hill2hill and trained about 12hrs a week since with races inbetween my last race with them was the tour durban kept the front one to put back on when my new ones come from evans i think 9 months on a set of tyres is pretty good considering all the riding i did

Geax is a great tyre but I am also disappointed in the wear of my Aka. Ride Sanguoro at front and Aka/Barro on the back. Rode my Aka until the knobleys were nearly entirely gone on the top. Guess approx 1000km in total.

Found the Barro Race to be more durable on the back

+1

Barro over aka,not that either last super long. With barro on the back if you skid alot the knobblies seem to disintegrate rather quickly, last maybe +/-600km

Any tyre with a dual compound rubber will not last long, but will give you a good ride and good grip. And grip over wear any day. If your concerened about tyre wear get yourself some singlecompound CST tyres they are heavy they suck have no grip but will last you for years.

Most decent tyres geax, conti's schwalbes etc are dual or tripple compound. And as long as you use them on trails and gravel you should get decent mileage out of them. If you take them on tarmac well half the life expectency, as they are grippy and will bite into the road and wear quickly.

as the saying goes, strong, light , cheap choose two, in the case of rubber its durable grippy cheap choose two
