Ordered from CRC four weeks ago and not a sniff of anything.

I did though go for the cheap shipping option.

Was anyone else aware that the SA Post Office staff have apparently been on strike for 3 months??

Hence the log-jam.

Just a word of warning to all, don't choose the cheap shipping option.

I have a 2 week delay on my order.."processing"

I sent a complaint email, they bumped up my shipping to DHL. Posted thursday and was with me on monday morning.

I ordered on the 27th of May and my order is at the Post Office , ready to collect against the usual fees. Standard Mail option, I think that's normal and to be expected. So no delays due to the Temp Staff strike at the PO.

A quick tip - place your order, then call them during business hours to follow up if all items are in stock and get an estimated shipping date from them.

Not all items are stored in the same warehouse/locations, so sometimes this causes kuk and delays.

Also, while you have them on the phone, especially if it's a big'ish order with many items, you can tell them to delete/remove all items on backorder or items that will delay your shipment. in that way you cut out the any "Lag" time of them trying to get hold of you, them wasting time trying to make a plan or taking their time.... Unless you want substitutes, etc.

Also, the free shipping option is not always that great if you have to take the hit and miss gamble with the postoffice... if they get your duties calculated incorrectly you will NEVER get it sorted, and if they are on strike, which happens often then, well... your fooked.

Rather club some orders together with mates, or just wait until you need enough items to make it worth paying for DHL.

my 5cents... use it/ dont use it.

I've had 38 parcels from them , all either Parcel Force or Royal Mail.

Delivery for all has been about 10 days, except for one over Christmas and New year which took another 10 days.

No miss in 38 parcels. 38 Hits, all intact, customs correct. It seems a good enough record.

Why pay more for DHL if 10 days delivery is not a sweat ?
